Title: Il ruolo del decreto-legge n. 120/2021 nella riduzione degli incendi boschivi evidenze preliminari dalla Calabria
Abstract: The paper discusses the implementation of Decree-Law No. 120 of 2021 in addressing forest fires in Calabria. The law introduces stricter penalties, including harsher prison sentences and asset confiscation for those involved in arson. The data show a significant reduction in fires after 2021, suggesting an immediate deterrent effect. Future empirical studies could explore the economic impact of the law, assessing the effectiveness of preventive policies and the allocation of resources over the long term.
